Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some questions that I’ve been asked. I’ll continue adding to them as more come up!

Where are you located and where will we meet?

I’m available to meet via Zoom video conferencing. This app allows for screen sharing and video conferencing and has worked very well for tutoring sessions!

How many times and how often should we meet?

I’m completely flexible to meet as frequently as you feel beneficial. Many students will typically schedule one meeting a week earlier in the term and then multiple meetings a week as exams approach. We’ll discuss what makes sense for your goals and your learning style when we meet!

How should I contact you?

If we haven’t had a session yet, you can get into contact with me by scheduling a 15 minute consultation through my appointment app so we can chat! Once we’ve had sessions, I’ll give you my phone number. I’m always available for you via phone or email.

Will you write pre-written exam answers for me?

No. I can’t do this because of rules regarding academic honesty, so I will not write any course work (ie. take-home exams and essays) or anything else that is to be submitted for grading in connection with an academic course. If, in substance, what you’re asking me to do is effectively doing the work you’ll be submitting for you or something else that breaches your school’s academic honesty policies, then I can’t do that.

What Forms of Payment Do You Take?

To make it easier for you, I accept both Interac e-transfer and credit card (I find most people prefer e-transfer). I handle all invoicing using Square, so you receive a receipt upon payment for your records.

What is your cancellation policy?

I know that law school life can be hectic! Accordingly, you can change or cancel your appointment up to 12 hours before the scheduled time via Square or by reaching out to me. However, to ensure fair access to my availability for all clients, a cancellation charge may be application for cancellations within 12 hours. Thank you for your understanding.
